Self - Photographs

In this ongoing body of work, I chose to explore hotels as a setting for creating imaginative scenes. Hotels can function as a neutral space for many different intimate stories waiting to be captured, a modular set for creating fictional scenes through photography. I go to hotels and rent rooms that are rented per hour, usually for sex. I take 'Self- photographs' in those places, only without the potential partner. It is the ultimate multifunctional room- a modular space that may be filled with many different stories and scenes. I am trying to grasp the untold history of that room and look for the story that was there before me, knowing that somebody used this room and slept in this bed before me. I took self - photographs in many hotels in many cities such as London, Jerusalem, Haifa and Tirana..
